Hello! I'm Angela, and for the past 16 years I have helped children of all ages overcome learning struggles and get the love of learning back. In the years of teaching, I've seen way too many tears, frustration, slumped shoulders, and too many hopeless faces from kids who have struggled more than others to read. Kids who believed they are less than and slowly giving up hope of being enough to master this sometimes-difficult skill of reading.I've also seen the hope, the confidence, the POWER shining through as my student finally gets its, with the right support, guidance, encouragement, techniques and with a fun way of learning to read come to life. I've personally helped a student that was about 3 grades behind in reading and helped them get up to their level in reading and be able to graduate high school as their class valedictorian.I believe that nearly all children, regardless of where they are at in their reading journey right now, has the potential to become EXPERT readers and my goal is to help them grow to that. Let's turn their reading journey into an adventure that they look forward to, together.
